A warrior puppy who survived the jungle with lions and hyena’s has been finally rescued.

The injured puppy had astonishingly braved the wilderness of Botswana, and found its way to a rescue centre to be treated.

Professor, Amanda Stronza from a nearby elephant research camp in Okavanga, has spoken of the moment the puppy, named Poppy, miraculously limped into the camp in the pouring rain.

Amanda claims the poor puppy had been trampled by an animal or possibly even a person.
