Daisy was rescued from a puppy-mill in early January, dirty, sick and pregnant with her second litter at only 18 months old. She was treated with antibiotics and delivered 4 puppies.
Lily, Petunia, Magnolia, and Iris seemed to be born healthy and were returned to their foster home before each little dog began to exhibit signs of the Parvo Virus and had to return to the veterinarian’s office. It was found that Mama Daisy is a Parvo carrier. After several days of antibiotics, Lily and Petunia seemed to improve and were sent home, while Iris and Magnolia are still in strict quarantine and are fighting secondary issues.
We will keep you updated on their progress.
