INGREDIENTS
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp white sugar
1/2 cup of diced yellow onion
1 cup milk
1 large egg
4 Tbsp butter, melted

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a bowl, mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Add diced onion and stir to combine.

2. In a jug, whisk milk and egg together. Add milk mixture to the flour mixture and mix until is about to get combined, stir in the butter.

3. Using a small ice cream scoop, take some of the mixture and fry them over medium heat until golden brown on all side. (3-5 minutes) remove from heat and place on a plate with paper towel
