A slatmill is a manual mill, the dogs are not forced to run! It is a belt with wooden slats attached around two axes. The belt moves when the dog starts moving, it stops when the dog stops. Since the belt is heavy, it has a lot of friction. It will hence slow down safely, the dog won’t trip and fall.

My dogs get all manner of exercise, this is not a replacement. It’s an addition to walks, hikes, runs along the bike, frisbee, fetch, flirtpole, springpole, long jump, lure racing, swimming, obedience.. the list goes on.

Hunter will celebrate his second birthday this Friday. He was born and raised in our home and never left his mum for a day in his life. He learnt her so many things!
