I went out to take out the garbage and found a tiny, helpless puppy.
Someone heartlessly abandoned him there,
leaving him to die alone.
I took him home and wrapped him in a blanket for warmth.
After giving him a warm bath and cleaning him up,
I noticed how weak he was.
His situation wasn’t very optimistic on the first day;
although he could nurse, his body temperature was alarmingly low.
