The largest litter of puppies ever recorded was 24 puppies, born to a Neapolitan mastiff named Tia in Cambridgeshire, UK in 2004. The puppies were born by C-section, and the litter included nine females and 15 males. One puppy was stillborn, and three died within the first week.
