Hey Guys!!! In this video I tell you about how Ryan and I were scammed and 7 Tips on how to avoid being scammed!! I also show you guys the emails and pictures our scammer sent to us. I hope this video helps with all your puppy dreams! Good luck puppy hunting!

My Tips Recapped:

1. Do your research – What sort of dog do you want? Does it fit your personality and lifestyle? How popular is it? Is it easy or hard to find?

2. Be aware that people will try to scam you

3. Find a legitimate pedigree breeder’s list in your area and contact them directly to see when their next litter is planned.

4. Google their name to make sure nothing dodgy comes up.

5. Puppies generally cannot be delivered directly to your doorstep, if they are offering this double check if this is possible in your area.

6. If they are saying the only way you can pay is via a bank deposit then don’t do it. They should be able to offer you multiple and saver ways to pay. Western Union banks are also used by a lot of scammers so if they are using that bank be extra careful.

7. If you want to make 100% sure this is legitimate, get them to take a photo of your puppy with a hand written piece of paper stating your name and phone number. Also request at least 2-3 photos be taken, one from the front, side and back (all with the paper in the shot). I suggest this because they may be able to Photoshop one image, but they wouldn’t be able to Photoshop multiple images seamlessly.
